Dr. Jose-Luis Hinojosa, M.D. appointed to the RBPP Board of Advisors
When I met up with my long time friend Jose Luis on January 24, 2016, as he was in Santa Monica, California for a medical conference, I told him that it was official, “You are going to be on the new RBPP Board of Advisors as our specialist for Medical/Sports Medicine. He was very pleased, and gladly accepted the honor.
Dr. Jose Luis Hinojosa, M.D. is celebrating his 41st year in the martial arts holding a 7th degree black belt in Tae Kwon do and a 1st degree black belt in Hapkido and weapons (the cane). He has trained under Grand Master Duk Sung Sun, Grand Master Hong Kang Kim, Grand Master Mark Shuey, Grand Master Eric Lee, Professor Silverio, and of course, me, in Reality-Based Personal Protection.
Dr. Hinojosa was the team doctor for the national Tae Kwon Do team from 1993 to 1998. In 2009 he was named as “One of America’s Top Family Doctors” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America in Washington, D.C.
