For you Reality-Based Personal Protection students and instructors you’ll definitely want the Boker Plus RBB Training Tool. This training knife will show you “cuts,” “stabs,” and “blunt trauma” by applying red and blue lipstick to the industrial felt. And, when you’re not using the tool to show injuries you can use it without lipstick for other training exercises, because it is flexible rubber, yet firm enough to make the training realist. On the second page, page 111, I have my popular Urban series. The top one is the original, about the size of a pen, and as sharp as a surgical scalpel. For many professionals, like undercover police officers and even teachers worried about a school shooting, this is the last resort defense weapon. The second one down, the one with the Multicam camouflage was the one I carried when I was a Master Sergeant with the Security Forces at Joint Forces Training Base in Southern Calfornia. I just retired from the Reserves in March. I liked this knife because it fit nicely in my pen sleeve pocket on my combat uniform, and the colors matched. The third one down is the Boker Plus Urban Survival Law Enforcement (LE) knife. Not only is it the size of a pen, and has a razor sharp blade, but it also has a handcuff key that can fold out, and the end of the ergonomic handle is a double pin lock so the handcuffs won’t tighten.
The final two Reality-Based Blades are the smaller version of page 110. These have buttons instead of thumb studs to open the blade. These two can be carried comfortable in a business suit, which I do, because they give off less of a weapons signature. The last knife on the bottom of the page, the Boker Plus Office Survival is the latest of the series. This is exactly what the name implies – it is for the office. It is great for cutting open boxes, used as a letter opener, or again, a last resort weapon if there is an active shooter about to come through the door and you have no choice but to ambush the killer using the Door Ambush technique I teach to my students in my one-day Terrorism Survival course.
