TRAINING IN EUROPE

Come to Germany and take Reality-Based lessons personally from Jim Wagner. The Jim Wagner Reality-Based Personal Protection World Headquarters is centrally located in Europe in the city of Solingen, the “Knife City,” only 30 minutes from the Dusseldorf airport and 30 minutes from the Cologne-Bonn airport. Then a train or taxi will get you right to our Training Center.

For you Americans and Canadians you may want to consider flying out to our Training Center and taking your courses there. Sometimes the cost of flying there is comparable to flights in the United States or Canada during off seasons, and you’ll get a European experience as well. You will need a passport, but no visa is required to enter the European Union if you are an American or Canadian citizen.

The Training Center

The Jim Wagner Reality-Based Personal Protection Training Center is located at the Boker facility only 100 meters from the SOLINGEN MITTE train stop. You can see our building from the stop.

Transportation

Taking a taxi from and to the Dusseldorf airport

There are always many taxis sitting out front on the arrivals area of the Dusseldorf airport. All you need to do, if you don’t speak German, is to show the address of the hotel you wish to stay at in Solingen. All taxis are equipped with GPS and the taxi fare will be shown on a meter the entire way. Expect to pay 60 to 72 euro for the trip, one way, and a 2 to 5 euro tip is recommended. On your return trip to the airport from Solingen your hotel manager can call you a taxi which will be there in five minutes. Solingen has an excellent cab service and many taxis are lined up each day in the city square.

Taking a train from and to the Dusseldorf airport

The train station is inside the Dusseldorf airport. You will take a train from the airport to Dusseldorf Hopbahnhof (the main train station). Then you will take a train to Solingen Mitte. Inside the train there is a digital sign by the door that will display each stop. Also, outside of each stop, there will be a sign of the stop. The SOLINGEN MITTE stop has no buildings and is in between two walls. When you exit the train you must go up the stairs or up the elevator. Once you are facing the street above, Schutzenstrasse, the Boker building is to your right. It is a gray building with the red dot Boker logo easily visible. To your left is the direction of the city center, which is only a 10 minute walk.

City Center

The recommend hotels and the Training Center are all near the city center of Solingen located between Kolner Strasse and Goerdeler Strasse. In this center, all in walking distance, are many restaurants, bars, fast food places (including a McDonalds), banks, a cinema, and many shops and boutiques. There are also a few food stores and mini-markets.
